Pool Builder

We are a well-established concrete swimming pool company who is looking for an experienced Pool Builder to join our team, preferably from a pool construction or plumbing background We predominantly work in all areas of S.E. Queensland, however also look after clients further North and are expanding to other states and territories for short term contract work. Our office is situated half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast with the bulk of our work being commercial with some luxury domestic pool builds, renovations and maintenance. This senior position requires you to start from the office most mornings and on completion of probationary period a company vehicle is provided. A Mon-Fri, 8-hour day is generally completed between the hours of 6am and 4pm with start time varying depending on projects with overtime available. The business has grown over the past few years and the owners are now looking for someone in a qualified and managerial role which would involves all aspects of the building process from coordinating projects from start to finish in a hands-on way.

Essential

• Current Driver’s License (able to drive manual vehicles).
• Construction White Card
• Construction or pool plumbing experience.
• Good communicator and customer focused.
• Self-motivated person with the ability to problem solve.
• Able to work in a team environment and coordinate work with other trades.
• Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.

Desirable

• Experience in the pool industry
• Ability to read plans, levels and interpret drawings
• Basic computer skills
• A knowledge of pool equipment
• Willingness to mentor less experienced team members
• Flexibility to work overtime and travel if required

Ideally, we would like to find someone who is looking for a long-term permanent position and would like to progress within our young company. Initial probationary period of 3 months will apply.

Wages are commensurate with experience and qualification
